Cardinals CEO Bill DeWitt put out a statement in which he declared the team has given up trying to trade for the Marlins slugger.Rumor, Dec. 7: Craig Mish of Siriux/XM Radio reports that Stanton would approve a trade to four teams, and none of them are the Giants or Cardinals.
